Ronald J. Paler, Jr, MD

Medical Director - Phoenix, AZ

Dr Paler is board certified in anatomic pathology and cytopathology. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School
of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his residency in anatomic pathology and a cytopathology fellowship at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. Dr Paler is a former member of the College of American Pathologists’ House of Delegates representing California. He has a special interest in information technology within the field of pathology as well as in quality improvement initiatives within the laboratory setting with emphasis on ISO 15189. Dr Paler is a member of the CAP 15189 Committee, the American Society of Clinical Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.

Beth Braunhut, MD

Dr Braunhut is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.  She earned her medical degree and completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson, Arizona.  She completed fellowships in renal pathology (University of Chicago) and genitourinary pathology (Univeristy of Miami). Dr Braunhut has co-authored more than 14 articles and abstracts that have appeared in peer-reviewed publications.

Neslihan Cetin, MD

Dr Cetin is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematopathology. She earned her medical degree from the Uludag University Medical School, Bursa, Turkey. She completed her residency in anatomical and clinical Pathology, as well as fellowships in hematopathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), Little Rock, Arkansas, and surgical pathology at New York University. Dr Cetin is a member of the American Medical Association, the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the Society for Pediatric Pathology, and the Society for Hematopathology.

Radwa A. El Behery, MD

Dr. Radwa El Behery is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology and hematopathology.  She earned her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, where she also completed her internship, fellowship, and received her master’s degree. She completed her fellowship in clinical pathology at Universite De Bretagne Occidental, Brest, France.  She completed her residency program training in anatomic pathology/clinical pathology, and hematopathology fellowship training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is a member of the College of American Pathologists.

Dhan Laxmi Desai, MD

Dr Dhan Laxmi Desai is board certified in anatomic pathology. She earned her medical degree and masters in Pathology from Osmania Medical College/Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad, India. She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio and a pediatric pathology fellowship at Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Dr Desai also previously served as a pathologist at both Medina General Hospital, a Cleveland Clinical Hospital and University Hospital, Case Western Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a member of the College of American Pathologists.

Froilan P. Espinoza, MD

Dr Espinoza is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and immunopathology. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Dr Espinoza completed his residency in pathology through a combined program at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in surgical pathology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. Dr Espinoza is a member of the College of American Pathologists and held a faculty appointment as assistant clinical professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine (1991-2006).

Lee J. McGhan, MD

Dr McGhan is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematopathology.  He received his medical degree from the Univeristy of Wales, College of Medicine, UK.  He completed an internship in general surgery at Mayo Clinic, Phoenix, AZ, a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ, and a fellowship in hematopathology at Banner - Univeristy Medical Center, Tuscon, AZ.  In addition to authoring a number of peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts, Dr McGhan has given poster and oral presentations at multiple national meetings as well as co-authoring a textbook chapter.  He is also a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists.

Dorna Rezania, MD

Dr Rezania is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematopathology.  She earned her medical degree from the Isfahan University of Medical Science in Iran.  Dr Rezania completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Yale University affiliated, Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT and fellowships in oncology surgical pathology and hematopathology at the University of South Florida, Moffitt Cancer Center,Tampa, FL.  She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), the Florida Society of Pathology (FSP), the San Diego County Medical  Society (SDCMS), the Connecticut Society of Pathologist (CSP), and the Fairfield County Society of Pathologist (FCSP).

Sassan Rostami, MD

Dr Rostami is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematology. He earned his medical degree from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Pittsburgh and the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. He completed a fellowship in hematopathology at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center under lymphoma expert Dr Jonathan Said. Dr Rostami is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology and has a special interest in myelodysplastic syndromes.

Arthur Somoza, MD

Dr Somoza is board certified in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology.  He earned his medical degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine, Cole Bay, Sint Maarten and completed his residency in anatomic pathology and laboratory medicine at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH.  Dr Somoza completed a fellowship in surgical pathology at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM and a fellowship in molecular pathology at the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ.  He is a member of the College of American Pathologists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the American Medical Association, and the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology.
