Ronald W. Thomason, MD

Dr Thomason is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematology. He earned his medical degree with highest honors from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas and a hematopathology fellowship, directed by Dr Peter Banks, at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr Thomason previously served as director of hematopathology for Blount Memorial Hospital and Kessler Air Force Base Medical Center. He also served as medical director for Molecular Pathology Laboratory in Maryville, Tennessee. Dr Thomason has published several articles in The American Journal of Clinical Pathology. He is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the American Society of Hematology, and the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry. 

Ron Lee, MD

Dr Lee is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida, where he also completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and a fellowship in hematopathology. Dr Lee is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the American Society of Hematology, the Clinical Cytometry Society, the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.

Stephanie J. McAlhany, MD, PhD

Dr McAlhany is board certified in anatomic pathology, hematology, and cytopathology. She earned her medical degree and PhD in molecular/cell biology from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her residency in anatomic pathology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she then completed fellowships in surgical pathology, hematopathology, and cytopathology. Dr McAlhany is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathologists, the College of American Pathologists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Debra M. Mitchell Nelson, MD

Dr Nelson is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematology. She earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies Faculty of Medicine. She completed her residency in pathology and a hematopathology fellowship at the University of Florida. Dr Nelson is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.

Christian Morosan, MD

Dr Morosan is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematology. He earned his medical degree from the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, and received post-medical school training in family medicine at County Hospital Suceava, Romania. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Tufts New England Medical Center and a hematopathology fellowship at Shands Medical Center-University of Florida. Dr Morosan is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, the International Academy of Pathology, the Society of Hematopathologists, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.

Krishna Oza, MD

Dr Oza is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, hematology, and blood banking/transfusion medicine. He earned his medical degree from Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya/M.G.M. Medical College, Indore (M.P.), India. He was a hematology resident at Service Central d’ Hématologie-Immunologie-Hôpital Henri Mondor, Créteil, France, and completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr Oza completed a fellowship in hematopathology, blood banking, and transfusion medicine at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He is a fellow of the American Society for Clinical Pathologists and the College of American Pathologists, as well as a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the American Association of Blood Banks, and the American Society of Hematology.

Joseph S. Papiez, MD

Dr Papiez is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematology. He earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in pathology and a fellowship in hematopathology, directed by Dr Raul Braylan, at the University of Florida. Dr Papiez is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, and the Clinical Cytometry Society.

Stephanie R. Schreiner, MD

Dr Schreiner is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her residency in pathology and a hematopathology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr Schreiner is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, the Society for Hematopathology, the Clinical Cytometry Society, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.

Wlodek Szczarkowski, MD

Dr Szczarkowski earned his medical degree from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. He completed his residency in clinical pathology at Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts, a hematopathology fellowship at Harvard University and William Beaumont Hospital, and a molecular pathology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr Szczarkowski is one of the nation’s leading experts in flow cytometry.

Patricia Uherova, MD

Dr Uherova is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematology. She earned her medical degree from the Charles University School of Medicine in Prague, Czechoslovakia. She completed her residency in pathology at the University of Michigan and hematopathology fellowships at the University of Michigan and Vanderbilt University. Dr Uherova is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
